About the role

Join the facilities team at InterContinental Doha The City, a luxury hotel in Qatar’s West Bay district. As a Plumber you will ensure all plumbing systems operate smoothly, supporting guest comfort and hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and keep all automatic flushing valves operational.
• Clean and service kitchen fat traps.
• Perform regular maintenance and chemical cleaning of soil and stack pipes.
• Keep roof‑level ventilation vent pipes and rainwater outlets clear.
• Review building plans to determine pipe layouts and select appropriate materials.
• Install supports, hangers, and pipe connections for fixtures and equipment.
• Repair and maintain underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems, including sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and conditioners.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant plumbing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and hazard regulations.

Required skills

• Experience with PPR, PVC, copper and cast‑iron pipe materials.
• Proficiency in pipe welding and brazing.
• Ability to read and interpret piping schematics.
• Understanding of safety regulations related to plumbing work.
