Process Safety Engineering Consultant

About the role

AcuTech Group is seeking experienced Process Safety Engineering Consultants to join its Qatar team. You will work directly with leading oil, gas, chemical and renewable companies on projects that span the full spectrum of process safety and risk management across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives, including PHA, HAZOP and QRA studies.
• Develop and deliver safety engineering solutions for chemical, fire protection and facility siting challenges.
• Manage client relationships, prepare technical proposals and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross‑functional project teams.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.

Required profile

• 10+ years (Senior) or 5+ years (Consultant) of experience in process safety, risk management or related engineering fields.
• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection or Safety Engineering (BEng/BSc, MEng/MSc).
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent and organized.
