Procurement Officer – Corporate Gifts & Promotional Items

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead sourcing and purchasing of corporate gifts, promotional merchandise and related customised products for our clients in Qatar. You will translate sales and project briefs into supplier requests, negotiate terms and ensure timely delivery that meets quality and branding specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and analyse client requirements, including specifications, quantities, branding, budget and delivery dates.
• Identify and qualify new local and international suppliers for gifts, promotional items, packaging and customisation.
• Obtain, compare and present multiple quotations, preparing clear recommendation sheets for internal approval.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities and customisation options with vendors.
• Coordinate samples, mock‑ups, branding methods and packaging before final order placement.
• Issue purchase orders, track confirmations, invoices and delivery notes, and follow up to keep production on schedule.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database, product catalogs and price lists.
• Resolve any quality issues, specification mismatches or delivery delays with suppliers.

• Confident communicator comfortable negotiating with vendors and taking ownership from inquiry through delivery.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with ERP or dedicated procurement systems.
• Knowledge of customisation techniques such as printing, engraving, embroidery, laser marking, UV printing, screen printing, packaging and branding.
