Product Manager of AI Applications, Global Public Sector

About the role

Scale is expanding its Global Public Sector team and seeks an entrepreneurial product leader to drive the creation of custom AI solutions for governments and government‑backed entities outside the United States. You will own large‑scale AI projects, turning client pain points into revenue‑generating applications built on the Scale GenAI Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design workshops with government clients to define bespoke AI solutions.
• Scope and prioritize new AI application use cases across multiple public‑sector entities.
• Direct cross‑functional teams of engineers, MLEs, and operators to deliver custom LLMs and AI applications.
• Engage end‑users continuously for feedback, ensuring solutions meet real‑world needs.
• Stay current with applied AI research, define model evaluation criteria, and iterate on performance.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and internal leadership.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product development experience, with recent work on AI‑powered products.
• Strong technical background (STEM degree or equivalent technical product experience).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work hands‑on in operational details while maintaining strategic vision.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with coding platforms such as Replit, Lovable, Bolt.
• Proficiency with design and collaboration tools like Figma, Canva, Miro.
