About the role

The Summer College Preview Program (SCPP) in Qatar seeks an experienced programming instructor to teach highly motivated high‑school students preparing for university‑level studies. The three‑week summer session runs from July 19 to August 6, 2026, with instructor training scheduled for July 13‑16.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a 60‑minute programming class each day for the three‑week program (total of 15 instructional hours).
• Provide two hours of daily office hours or tutoring to offer additional academic support.
• Participate in community‑building activities, which may occur in the evenings or on Saturdays.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to effectively teach and mentor secondary‑school students.
• Comfort adapting to dynamic classroom environments.
• Skill in navigating linguistic and cultural differences.
• Experience working in a diverse cultural setting.
