Project Control Engineer

About the role

The Project Control Engineer supports cost control, scheduling and earned value activities on projects in Doha. The role is ideal for engineers who want to deepen their expertise across estimating, cost engineering and planning while working on infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing cost control systems, including work breakdown structures and interfacing with procurement, engineering and finance.
• Create cost status presentations using graphs and diagrams.
• Implement and maintain project schedules, develop critical‑path logic networks and bar charts, and forecast progress against baseline schedules.
• Analyze design or construction changes and assess schedule impacts.
• Report schedule and cost performance to project, company and client management.
• Maintain an Earned Value Management System, calculate CPI and SPI, and provide corrective action recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Approximately 7 years of experience in cost management, claims preparation/review and project scheduling.
• Experience on multi‑contract infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Primavera scheduling software.
