Project Engineering Manager (Offshore)

About the role

Worley is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead the engineering framework for offshore projects in the energy and hydrocarbon sectors. The role will establish procedures, manage multi‑disciplinary teams and ensure delivery of high‑quality design outputs that meet customer, regulatory and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement the project engineering execution framework, including procedures, deliverables, workflows and interface management.
• Lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary engineering teams through Feasibility/Concept, FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• Direct preparation and quality of engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, standards and schedule.
• Oversee integration across engineering disciplines and manage interfaces with procurement, construction and third‑party contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Worley standards, international codes and customer specifications, maintaining document control and review cycles.
• Lead technical reviews, safety studies and technical peer reviews, engaging senior engineering leadership as needed.
• Manage technical value improvement practices such as technology selection, value engineering, energy optimisation and reliability‑centred maintenance.
• Act as the primary technical interface with customer management teams to support safe, on‑time and within‑budget delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary engineering teams on offshore projects.
• Experience delivering engineering work across Feasibility/Concept, FEED and Detailed Design stages.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering codes, standards and regulatory requirements for energy/hydrocarbon assets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical interfaces between engineering, procurement and construction.
• Experience in value improvement practices, including technology selection and energy optimisation.
• Ability to lead design reviews, safety studies and technical peer reviews.
