Project Lead Engineer – System 800xA

About the role

You will act as the technical lead for all engineering activities on assignments, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective execution across all disciplines. As a design authority you will guide the translation of conceptual designs into detailed engineering documentation and oversee project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on installation, commissioning and site activities, resolving engineering issues and providing corrective solutions.
• Coach project engineers and designers in modelling, prototyping and calculations.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (up to 10 members), both in‑house and outsourced.
• Apply design‑thinking and design‑for‑excellence concepts, including simulation and validation.
• Validate technical design solutions for medium and complex projects.

Required profile

• Graduate Engineer in Electrical, Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience, with at least 8 years in customer support, project or service engineering for System 800xA‑based solutions.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Power & Water sectors.
• Proven ability to lead virtual teams of 5‑10 members and manage service contracts.
• Hands‑on experience with system installation, maintenance and commissioning.

Required skills

• System 800xA, AC800M, AC800M HI, Infi90, Symphony platforms.
• Control‑system hardware and software development (including 9800M, Symphony Plus).
• Industrial networking and network‑switch configuration.
• Cyber‑security solutions for 800xA systems, including audits and assessments.
