Project Manager (China Fabrication)

About the role

The Project Manager (China Fabrication) leads all fabrication activities in Chinese yards up to sail‑away, ensuring that safety, scope, schedule and quality objectives are met for the CP and LQ facilities. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the role may also take on specific tasks as required.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction site activities across Chinese fabrication yards and ensure delivery within approved scope and schedule.
• Manage EPC contractors, sub‑contractors and vendors to execute the project in compliance with contract requirements and company specifications.
• Coordinate with internal project teams and departments to resolve technical and logistical issues.
• Act as the delegated representative of the Senior Project Manager on‑site, implementing project strategies and objectives.
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are adhered to throughout the fabrication process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, engineering, construction or procurement within the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years in a senior project‑management role on a major oil‑and‑gas project.
• Proven experience working with Chinese fabrication yards and offshore production facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural teams and stakeholders worldwide.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork.
