Project Manager (Onshore)

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead onshore projects in Doha, Qatar. The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of engineering, procurement and construction activities, acting as the primary interface with customers and suppliers, and ensuring delivery within scope, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, supervise and control all business, technical, fiscal and administrative functions of assigned projects.
• Represent the company with customers and selected suppliers throughout program execution.
• Negotiate scope changes with customers and support business development in securing new work.
• Establish program requirements, monitor deliverables for compliance, and assign responsibilities to project team members.
• Mobilize company resources and coordinate with support departments to form effective project teams.
• Work with lead discipline engineers to develop budgets, schedules and plans, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Identify and address potential cost overruns or schedule delays, and advise customers and management of changes.
• Promote technical excellence and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of project management experience in construction, energy or related sectors.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large‑scale onshore projects.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, acting as the main company representative.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, cost control and risk management.
• Ability to mobilize resources across multiple offices or subsidiaries.
• Familiarity with health, safety and quality standards in complex projects.
