Proposals Engineer

About the role

The Proposals Engineer will work on‑site in Doha, supporting Ammico’s bid team to develop competitive technical and commercial proposals for geotechnical and marine projects. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, procurement and operations to ensure proposals meet client specifications and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents and extract technical and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather engineering, procurement and cost inputs.
• Prepare detailed proposal documentation, including technical write‑ups, cost estimates and schedules.
• Support sales activities by answering bid queries, preparing clarifications and contributing to presentation materials.
• Monitor proposal timelines, maintain records and continuously improve standard templates and data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or related discipline) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in proposals, tendering or estimation within construction, geotechnical or marine projects.
• Strong analytical, numerical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
