Purchase Manager – Hospitality & Catering (Doha)

About the role

The leading catering and hospitality group in Doha is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement across multiple restaurants, catering sites and hospitality outlets. You will be responsible for sourcing food, beverages, equipment and other supplies while ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness and strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end purchasing for all food, beverage, kitchen equipment, packaging and consumables across several locations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations and ensure continuity of supply by identifying alternative sources.
• Coordinate with Operations, Chefs, Finance, Stores and Management to capture accurate purchasing requirements.
• Control stock levels, avoid shortages or excess inventory, and review purchase orders, quotations and invoices.
• Implement cost‑control procedures, track supplier performance and prepare regular procurement reports.
• Ensure all purchases comply with quality, specification and food‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Currently based in Doha, Qatar.
• Proven experience as a Purchase or Procurement Manager in hospitality, catering or multi‑site restaurant environments.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage purchasing and local supply chains in Qatar.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP or procurement software (advantage).
