QA/QC Coordinator – Offshore Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

Airswift is looking for an experienced QA/QC Coordinator to lead quality assurance and control activities for a major oil and gas project in Doha. You will be the central point for ensuring that fabrication, construction, and offshore installation work meet project specifications, international standards, and approved procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary inspection teams across all project phases.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, resolve quality issues, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Maintain integrity of materials, welding, coating, and installation processes.
• Conduct audits, generate reports, and manage documentation for QA/QC activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• BSc or higher in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC coordination experience on major offshore oil & gas projects.
• At least 5 years of offshore project exposure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multicultural teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• CSWIP 3.2.1 or AWS Senior Welding Inspector (SCWI) certification.
• NACE Level II Coating Inspector qualification (preferred).
• NDT Level II in RT, UT, PT & MT (ASNT or ISO compliant).
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
• Proficiency with MS Office, database management, and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of EN, ISO, API, ASME, and ASTM standards.
