Quality Assurance Engineer – Rotary Wing

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer – Rotary Wing ensures that the highest maintenance standards are applied to rotary‑wing aircraft, guaranteeing airworthiness, reliability and safety. You will work closely with technical staff and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with the company’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition, Maintenance Organisation Exposition and Technical Procedures Manual.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate occurrences and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct internal and external audits and surveillance inspections of all aircraft maintenance activities.
• Perform spot checks on aircraft and detailed surveillance of material supply.
• Carry out Maintenance Documentation Reviews (MDR).
• Maintain databases for QCAA company approvals and staff authorisations.
• Coordinate with QCAA for aircraft certificate renewals.
• Support the Manager of Quality Technical in daily duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a valid Part‑66 licence.
• Qualified aviation auditor with Level‑1 training on at least one helicopter type.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, regulator or systems engineer in helicopter maintenance.
• At least 4 years of auditing experience.
• Familiarity with EASA, FAA and ICAO regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of helicopter aviation.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
