Quantity Surveyor & Estimator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor and Estimator to join our boutique interior design studio in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities across all project phases, from concept design to final account, supporting our high‑end residential and commercial fit‑out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates at concept, schematic, tender and construction stages.
• Produce accurate Bills of Quantities for finishes, materials, furniture and fit‑out works.
• Carry out value engineering and cost planning to align designs with budget targets.
• Review and analyse contractor and supplier quotations, identifying discrepancies and risks.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout execution and report variances.
• Prepare interim valuations, variation orders and final accounts.
• Coordinate closely with the design team to ensure specifications are fully costed.
• Support material and finish selection with cost comparisons and budget‑aligned alternatives.
• Liaise with suppliers and forwarding agents for order tracking and delivery coordination.
• Maintain organised records of estimates, BOQs, cost reports and related documents.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of quantity surveying and estimation experience in Qatar, preferably in interior design, fit‑out or construction.
• Strong knowledge of the Qatar market, local suppliers, contractors and cost benchmarks.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, logistics and Incoterms.
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
