Reservation Agent

About the role

We are seeking a Reservation Agent to join our Front Office team in Doha. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences by handling reservations, answering enquiries, and providing personalized service throughout the booking process.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly and courteously to all guest reservation requests via phone, email and online platforms.
• Process bookings, ensuring accurate rate codes, product knowledge and correct room allotments.
• Update group blocks, rate codes and room inventories in all relevant systems.
• Communicate daily arrival information to other departments to guarantee seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain accurate filing, compile reports and submit them to stakeholders as required.
• Participate in up‑selling and cross‑selling initiatives to increase hotel revenue.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Basic literacy and numeracy with strong English communication skills.
• Entry‑level experience as a Reservations Agent, preferably in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Self‑motivated, flexible and creative with a guest‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using a Property Management System (PMS).
