About the role
The Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for guests seeking to book rooms or inquire about hotel facilities. Working in a luxury hotel environment, you will deliver professional, efficient, and friendly service while promoting the brand’s values.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls within three rings using the approved greeting and reservation script.
- Handle reservation inquiries via fax, email and other channels according to standard operating procedures.
- Enter booking details accurately into the property management system, processing new reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
- Issue reservation confirmations, track special requests, advance deposits and maintain accurate paper records.
- Complete daily call conversion sheets and compile reports as directed by the manager or supervisor.
- Stay up‑to‑date with hotel facilities, promotions and any changes that may affect reservations.
Required profile
- Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to respond promptly.
- Strong attention to detail when entering data and handling guest requests.
- Good organizational skills to manage daily paperwork and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and embody the brand’s five winning ways values.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a property management system for hotel reservations.
