Secondary Arabic Teacher – IB & IGCSE

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking a qualified Secondary Arabic Teacher to join Etqan Global Academy in Doha. The successful candidate will deliver a bespoke Arabic curriculum for IGCSE, post‑16 and IB Diploma students, fostering language fluency and academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver Arabic lessons for IGCSE, post‑16 and IB Diploma programmes.
• Prepare students for external examinations and develop personalised learning pathways.
• Promote a supportive, challenging learning culture that inspires student achievement.
• Integrate language, literacy and communication skills across subject content.
• Organise enrichment activities, guest visits and contribute to the after‑school ECA programme.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practice and act as an ambassador for the school.

Required profile

• University degree or Higher Diploma in Arabic.
• Teaching qualification obtained through a face‑to‑face programme (required for Qatar visa).
• Experience teaching Arabic at post‑16, IB Diploma and IGCSE levels in an international school setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Values‑led approach, cultural sensitivity and a positive, can‑do attitude.
