Secondary Humanities Teacher – Doha, Qatar (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our international school community in Doha, Qatar, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will inspire students aged 11‑16 to explore history, geography and cultural studies, fostering critical thinking and global awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Develop curriculum resources that encourage inquiry, creativity and interdisciplinary connections.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to a collaborative faculty team and participate in school-wide initiatives.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive classroom environment that values diversity.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Humanities or Education and a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at secondary level, preferably covering Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Completion of an Early Career Teacher (ECT) programme.
• Commitment to fostering international awareness and cultural sensitivity.
