Assistant/Associate Professor – Aeronautical Engineering

About the role

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) seeks qualified faculty members for its Aeronautical Engineering Department at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, research‑active environment, delivering undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising capstone projects, and engaging with industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and assess a broad range of Aeronautical Engineering courses, including laboratory and simulation components.
• Supervise final‑year and capstone projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Maintain course documentation for program review and accreditation.
• Participate in curriculum development, new program design, and industry advisory committees.

Required profile

• PhD in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field from an internationally recognized institution.
• Minimum five years of post‑doctoral academic experience and three years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven record of scholarly publications and a clear plan for generating research income.
• Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and use of educational technologies.
