Senior Advisor – Issuer Services & Investor Relations

About the role

The Senior Advisor – Issuer Services and Investor Relations will build and lead a new unit within Qatar Stock Exchange dedicated to enhancing issuer services and investor relations across the Qatari market. Reporting to the Chief Commercial & Investment Officer, the role establishes the unit’s operating model, service catalogue, governance and commercial strategy, and positions it as a centre of expertise for listed and prospective issuers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch the Issuer Services and Investor Relations unit, defining its operating model, service portfolio and governance framework.
• Recruit, mentor and manage a high‑performing team, setting performance standards and delivery expectations.
• Develop and deliver market education programmes, executive briefings, training and practical guidance on investor relations, disclosure, governance and sustainability reporting.
• Act as the exchange’s senior authority on disclosure practice, shareholder communication, investor targeting and sustainability reporting.
• Collaborate with Listings, Product & Market Development, and Marketing & Communications teams to drive initiatives that deepen liquidity, broaden the investor base and enhance market attractiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in capital markets, issuer services or investor relations.
• Proven track record of building and leading specialised units or teams.
• Strong understanding of Qatar’s capital market environment and international best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with senior executives of listed companies.
