Senior Manager - Commercial & Strategic Partnerships

About the role

The Senior Manager – Commercial & Strategic Partnerships leads the evaluation, structuring and execution of investment opportunities and strategic alliances that support Qatar Stock Exchange’s growth agenda. Reporting to the Chief Commercial & Investment Officer, the role works closely with senior leadership and external partners to drive fund manager commitments, co‑investments and partnership agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial, commercial and strategic due diligence on fund manager commitments, SMAs and co‑investment opportunities, coordinating legal, finance and advisory workstreams.
• Develop investment memoranda, valuation models and IC papers with clear recommendations for senior decision‑makers.
• Identify, structure and negotiate strategic partnerships with exchanges, clearinghouses, fintech firms and institutional investors.
• Manage existing partner relationships, monitor post‑investment performance and prepare periodic risk and performance reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field; master’s, CFA or MBA preferred.
• 10‑15 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, financial advisory or an investment firm.
• Proven track record of evaluating and executing fund investments, co‑investments and partnership agreements.
• Prior M&A experience within an exchange, market‑infrastructure or financial‑services environment is a plus.
