Senior Associate – Tax Compliance

About the role

The Senior Associate – Tax Compliance will support QNB’s tax compliance function across its local and international operations. The role involves delivering advisory services, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and coordinating tax reporting for overseas branches and subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering tax compliance advisory services aligned with internal policies, procedures and legal frameworks.
• Prepare and file tax reports, including FATCA, CRS, UK FATCA, UK CDOT and OECD Standard filings.
• Coordinate tax compliance activities for QNB’s overseas branches and subsidiaries, meeting fixed deadlines and quality standards.
• Track client documentation related to tax compliance programs, monitor expirations and manage renewals.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve tax‑related queries and support help‑desk operations.
• Implement KPI monitoring and promote cost‑efficient practices within the tax compliance function.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation or a related field.
• Experience in tax compliance within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of international tax regulations and reporting standards.
• Ability to work proactively on regulatory changes and support cross‑border projects.
