Senior ETL Designer & Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior ETL Designer & Developer to create, maintain and optimise enterprise‑scale data integration solutions. You will work across Informatica PowerCenter, Teradata EDW and Google Cloud Platform to enable high‑volume telecom data processing and support business intelligence reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Build scalable batch and near‑real‑time pipelines and automate them with Unix shell scripts.
• Manage Teradata EDW layers (Staging, ODS, EDW, Data Marts) and optimise performance using explain plans, partitioning, join/index strategies and query tuning.
• Develop cloud data solutions on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub) and integrate on‑premise EDW with cloud services.
• Support enterprise BI tools such as SAP BusinessObjects, Qlik Sense and Looker, and work with Denodo for data virtualization.
• Apply telecom OSS/BSS domain knowledge to process CDR/IPDR, billing, CRM and network performance data.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and delivering ETL solutions for large, complex datasets.
• Strong background in Teradata architecture, CLDM and advanced SQL optimisation.
• Hands‑on expertise with Google Cloud Platform data services.
• Deep understanding of telecom data models and KPIs.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting for automation and monitoring.
