Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead HR strategy for a large business unit or cluster of units in Doha. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating commercial objectives into effective people initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to design and implement people strategies aligned with the division’s plan and Group HR policy.
• Develop and execute the division HR plan, covering talent management, performance, engagement, workforce planning and organisational effectiveness.
• Lead organisational design, development and change projects to ensure the business is future‑ready.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver talent acquisition, learning, performance management, reward and employee engagement solutions.
• Drive a high‑performance culture through leadership development, succession planning and recognition programmes.
• Provide coaching and guidance on employee‑relations matters, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead strategic HR projects, policy reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across the business to understand commercial priorities and workforce challenges.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and align HR initiatives with business strategy.
• Strong understanding of talent management, workforce planning and organisational design.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder‑management skills.
