Senior Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

Al Jazeera Media Network is looking for a Senior Learning & Development Specialist to partner with business stakeholders and drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning programs that support the organisation’s strategy. The role will lead needs analysis, create blended learning solutions and ensure high‑quality delivery across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs and priorities.
• Conduct learning needs analysis and translate business requirements into effective solutions.
• Design, develop and implement learning programs aligned with AJMN’s strategic goals.
• Create innovative, engaging blended and digital learning experiences.
• Manage learning projects from instructional design through implementation and evaluation.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
• Support competency and skill development across the organisation.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and external learning providers.
• Stay current on emerging learning trends, technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in learning & development, instructional design or similar roles.
• Proven ability to conduct learning needs analysis and design high‑impact solutions.
• Strong stakeholder and project management capabilities.
