Senior PCS7 Engineer

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Senior PCS7 Engineer in Doha to lead the engineering and commissioning of Siemens PCS 7 systems on medium to large-scale automation projects. The role covers hardware and software configuration, detailed engineering documentation, testing and commissioning, training and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering and commissioning of Siemens PCS 7 systems, including hardware and software configuration
• Prepare and review engineering documentation such as cabinet layouts, wiring and interconnection drawings, bills of materials, power and heat-load calculations and test procedures
• Execute system testing, FAT/SAT and site commissioning, keeping documentation clear, traceable and compliant with customer requirements
• Develop training materials, as-built documents and O&M manuals, and deliver customer training and knowledge transfer
• Mentor junior engineers and take ownership of quality, safety and schedule across multiple projects
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure system availability and maintainability

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control or Automation Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of relevant automation experience, with substantial hands-on PCS 7 engineering and site commissioning
• Proven experience delivering medium to large automation projects, preferably EPC, brownfield, migration or live-plant modification work
• Knowledge of process and infrastructure applications such as water and wastewater, power management systems or metals and mining
• Excellent communication, coordination and customer-handling skills; able to work independently and lead a team
• Valid Qatar ID and local availability preferred
