Senior Planning Engineer (Instrumentation)

About the role

Airswift is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer specialized in instrumentation to support a national operator in Qatar. The role is a long‑term contract based at the Doha headquarters, working full‑time on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Project Master Plans and schedules for all phases using Primavera and Project Builder.
• Monitor progress, verify performance, and produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Provide planning inputs for Project Execution Plans, Risk Management Plans, Change Management Plans and tender documents.
• Maintain project data in SAP for reporting and analysis.
• Identify early warnings and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Evaluate technical proposals of bidders, ensuring compliance with scheduling and resource allocation requirements.
• Review and endorse contractor planning packages, execution programmes and recovery plans.

Required profile

• Significant experience in project planning and scheduling for large‑scale engineering projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, SAP and Project Builder tools.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation scope and construction delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
