Senior Product Manager - Search

About the role

Snoonu is seeking a strategic Senior Product Manager to own the Search service across its super‑app platform. The role is responsible for the end‑to‑end vision, strategy and roadmap of a shared, cross‑vertical search infrastructure that powers discovery in food, groceries, retail and other categories.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for the shared search service used across all verticals.
• Improve relevance and discovery by tuning ranking logic, query understanding and search pipelines.
• Coordinate with vertical product teams, engineering, data and design to ensure unified search experiences.
• Design and run A/B experiments on ranking, UI and query handling to drive evidence‑based improvements.
• Own key search metrics such as zero‑result rate, CTR, search‑to‑order conversion and query abandonment.
• Manage index architecture, faceting, personalization and API integrations, working closely with engineering on real‑time catalog sync.
• Translate commercial and operations needs into search logic for merchandising, promotions and vendor boosting.
• Communicate performance and strategy to senior leadership and vertical teams.
• Mentor other product managers and promote best practices for experimentation and data‑driven iteration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on search, discovery or catalog products.
• Proven ability to manage a shared platform serving multiple teams with competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear prioritisation frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Enterprise search platform configuration and management.
• Relevance tuning, indexing strategies and personalization features.
• Information retrieval concepts: ranking, NLP, tokenisation, synonyms, faceted search, merchandising rules.
• Search analytics, A/B testing and metric‑driven decision making.
• Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
