Senior QA/QC Engineer – Offshore Projects

About the role

Airswift is looking for a Senior QA/QC Engineer to provide technical leadership and ensure the effective implementation of the Quality Management System for a major oil & gas project in Doha, Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the QMS across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client quality requirements.
• Oversee contractor performance, manage audits, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead multidisciplinary QA/QC teams to achieve high‑quality offshore project execution.
• Manage manufacturing inspection, certification processes, and documentation for equipment and materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred); Master’s degree advantageous.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas, including solid offshore exposure.
• At least 5 years in a senior QA/QC leadership role.
• Qualified Lead ISO 9001 Auditor; professional membership in a relevant institution is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and quality management practices.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with proven leadership abilities.
