Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will oversee a designated corporate portfolio, driving profitability through existing account development and new business acquisition. The role combines strategic credit recommendation, cross‑selling of banking products, and close client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review the allocated portfolio, recommending credit facilities aligned with the bank’s risk appetite and earnings goals.
• Identify and pursue new prospects within target markets to expand the client base.
• Conduct external follow‑ups including client calls, field visits, documentation, and payment regularisation while gathering market feedback.
• Coordinate internal processes such as credit reviews, documentation handling, and approval workflows with relevant units.
• Prepare term sheets, pre‑screen memos, financial models, risk ratings, and profitability reports.
• Collect and compile information for new credit proposals in line with standard guidelines.
• Explore vertical and horizontal relationships across client groups to cross‑sell products and services from other business divisions.

Required profile

• Proven relationship management and business development experience.
• Strong negotiation and credit analysis capabilities.
• Solid tertiary qualifications and extensive credit experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and results‑driven mindset.
