SOC L2 Analyst

About the role

Malomatia is seeking a SOC Analyst‑2 to join its Managed Security Services Unit. The role focuses on security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence to protect client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from SIEM, NDR, Email Security and EDR platforms.
• Investigate, remediate and document security incidents and produce regular reports.
• Maintain and configure security tools, implement new technologies and ensure optimal operation.
• Stay updated on current cyber threats and apply threat intelligence to improve detection.
• Collaborate with other security and IT teams, and mentor junior (L1) analysts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a security analyst, preferably within an MSSP or MSP environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as SANS are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
