Supplier Performance Engineer Level II

About the role

The Supplier Performance Engineer Level II is responsible for delivering robust supplier performance analysis and governance support to enable timely interventions and escalation decisions. The role ensures performance data is credible, actionable, and aligned to defined metrics, supporting aircraft maintenance and engineering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance against established KPIs, contractual commitments, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Analyze supplier performance trends, including on‑time delivery, turnaround times, quality metrics and recovery effectiveness.
• Prepare supplier engagement packs, dashboards, management reports and performance review materials.
• Coordinate intervention plans and corrective actions, tracking progress, due dates and closure effectiveness.
• Validate performance data, resolve discrepancies and maintain supplier performance databases, trackers and exception logs.
• Track supplier CAPA implementation and verify progress.
• Support supplier evaluations, benchmarking activities, tender reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare management briefings and provide timely responses to stakeholder reporting requests.
• Represent the department in internal meetings and supplier forums, contributing to governance and performance improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in airline, aerospace, engineering, maintenance, supply chain or supplier performance environments.
• Technical and operational knowledge of aircraft systems and deep aircraft program lifecycle expertise.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret performance data, identify trends and support risk‑based decision making.
• Good understanding of supplier performance management, stakeholder engagement and governance processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint or other presentation tools.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems.
