Tax Opportunities - Qatar (National Talent)

About the role

EY is looking for Qatari nationals to join its growing Tax practice in Qatar, within International Tax & Transaction Services (ITTS), Indirect Tax (IDT) or Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR). You will support complex tax matters, advise leading businesses in Qatar and contribute to major national initiatives, gaining exposure to high-impact projects and developing deep tax technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality tax advisory, compliance and reporting support to clients across ITTS, IDT or GCR service lines.
• Manage day-to-day client engagements, prepare technical deliverables and assist senior team members with tax analysis and communication.
• Contribute to project planning, research emerging tax issues and ensure accurate, timely execution of tax assignments.

Required profile

• Qatari national with 2+ years of relevant tax experience in ITTS, Indirect Tax, Corporate Tax or Tax Compliance.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Economics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of GCC tax frameworks (corporate tax and/or VAT).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work well in a team.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to interpret complex tax and financial information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Ideally: progress toward a professional qualification (ADIT, CPA, CMA, ACCA or similar), experience with multinational clients or cross-border projects, and good knowledge of ERP systems for tax compliance and reporting.
