Senior Manager, Forensic Data Analytics

About the role

EY Forensics brings together forensic accountants, technologists, certified fraud examiners and anti-corruption and anti-money laundering specialists to help clients respond to fraud, government investigations, regulatory inquiries, major litigation and transactional disputes. A Senior Manager position is open in Doha, Qatar, supporting MENA-wide projects and clients in a growing forensic space and market, with some regional travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corruption, fraud and forensic investigations, including multi-jurisdictional matters, applying analytics to identify evidence and quantify losses.
• Analyse company accounts, financial data and large transactional datasets to spot high-risk indicators, fraud, misstatements or irregularities.
• Advise on data-driven monitoring analytics for fraud and anti-bribery frameworks, performance improvement and cost savings.
• Review internal controls, data integrity and governance, and recommend enhancements to strengthen fraud and compliance posture.
• Prepare defensible forensic reports with evidence review, chain of custody and analytics documentation suitable for litigation and regulatory use.
• Work with cyber/DFIR specialists on cyber-enabled fraud, using logs, transactions and endpoint data to reconstruct events and quantify impact.
• Deliver on sales targets, build a forensic data analytics pipeline and contribute to propositions and thought leadership.

Required profile

• Strong academic record including a degree, and a related professional qualification and/or certification.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally for extended periods and at short notice.
• Ability to handle diverse, pressing assignments and sensitive, adversarial situations.
• Forensic mindset with critical thinking and high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead engagements, manage multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.

Required skills

• Ideally: Arabic speaking, reading and writing.
• Ideally: SQL, Python and/or R for large-scale data analysis.
• Ideally: Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau.
• Ideally: SAP and Oracle, machine learning, text analytics, network/link analysis, cyber incident response and DFIR basics.
