Senior Business Analyst – Lending & FDI Transformation

About the role

A bank is hiring a Senior Business Analyst in Qatar to support lending growth, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) initiatives, co-lending solutions and sector-based financing transformation. The role bridges business requirements with technology-driven solutions across corporate banking, lending, credit and business analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements, BRDs/BRS, user stories and functional specifications.
• Work with Business, Credit, Risk, Operations, Product and Technology teams on lending transformation initiatives.
• Analyse end-to-end lending and credit processes to find automation and efficiency improvements.
• Support lending platform enhancements, loan origination systems and loan lifecycle management.
• Conduct financial, market, sector and portfolio analysis to support business decisions.
• Contribute to credit framework enhancements, process optimisation and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders on cross-market implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Lending, Credit, Business Analysis or Financial Services Transformation.
• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, IT or a related field.
• Strong understanding of lending products, credit processes and loan lifecycle management.
• Exposure to lending transformation, credit system implementations and process improvement projects.
• Knowledge of FDI, structured finance, co-lending or corporate lending is an advantage.
