Teaching Assistant – Business Administration

About the role

The Business Administration Department at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar seeks a Teaching Assistant to support undergraduate business and economics courses beginning August 2026. The role blends instructional support, course design, and the exploration of AI tools in business education.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lead instructors with instructional materials and course content design.
• Coordinate content across multiple courses and ensure consistency.
• Conduct recitations, hold office hours, and provide direct support to students.
• Develop and maintain business analytics examples and dashboards for classroom use.
• Explore and integrate AI tools (LLMs, AI agents, etc.) into teaching materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field (master’s degree a plus).
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in consulting, analytics, operations, or a related business function.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
