Team Leader - Laundry

About the role

The Team Leader – Laundry will oversee daily laundry operations for a luxury hotel, ensuring high‑quality service, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards. This role reports directly to hotel management and leads a team of laundry staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the hotel’s laundry department, including linen, uniform, and guest laundry processing.
• Maintain exceptional quality standards and timely delivery of cleaned items.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and chemical handling regulations.
• Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff, fostering a productive work environment.
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment, perform routine checks, and coordinate repairs.
• Control inventory of linens, chemicals, and supplies.
• Utilize basic computer systems to track operations and generate reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related certification is a plus.
• 2‑3 years of laundry operations experience in a luxury hotel setting.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and chemical handling.
• Proven leadership, communication, and ability to work under pressure.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel operational procedures.
