Tech Cell Engineer Level II – Light Maintenance Production Control Center

About the role

The Tech Cell Engineer Level II supports the Light Maintenance Production Control Center (PCC) by reviewing, evaluating, and distributing system‑related activities across line production, ensuring technical compliance, resource optimisation, and timely maintenance execution.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming Deferred Defects (DDs), Troubleshooting Recommendations (TSRs), and support requests from Line Maintenance, Quality Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Review Aircraft Maintenance Pre‑Input Packages to highlight critical tasks, modifications and operational risks while meeting Turnaround Time (TAT) requirements.
• Assess first‑time and complex aircraft maintenance tasks to verify availability of manpower, materials, spare parts, tooling, equipment and logistics support.
• Provide technical reviews, task‑card amendment recommendations and feasibility assessments for complex tasks, major modifications and first‑time maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with Production Planning and Engineering to ensure approved documentation, serviceable equipment, required tools and aircraft parts are ready before execution.
• Monitor, analyse and recommend troubleshooting solutions for recurrent and critical system defects.
• Conduct pre‑induction briefings for Shift Managers and Supervisors on DDs, TSRs, critical system issues and maintenance requirements.
• Communicate lessons learned and system challenges from previous aircraft inputs to mitigate risks for upcoming maintenance.
• Analyse historical maintenance data to support reliability improvements and future planning.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Department to support continuous operational improvement.
