Technical Trainer – Water

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Trainer – Water to design and deliver high‑quality training programs on water engineering, treatment, and utility operations. The role combines classroom instruction, hands‑on labs, and competency assessment to support our workforce development goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate technical training sessions, workshops, and practical labs covering water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination, and distribution systems.
• Plan and coordinate training schedules, resources, equipment, and instructional materials.
• Assess trainee performance through written exams, practical evaluations, and competency assessments.
• Coach, mentor, and supervise trainees throughout the training cycle.
• Create and continuously improve training manuals, presentations, assessments, and technical exercises.
• Maintain training facilities, laboratories, and equipment in safe, functional condition.
• Support certification processes and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare training records, progress reports, attendance logs, and competency evaluations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in water utilities, treatment, wastewater, desalination or related fields.
• Previous experience in technical training, instruction, or workforce development is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Water, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Certified Train‑the‑Trainer (TTT) qualification.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
