Waiter/Waitress – The Highmore

About the role

The Highmore restaurant is seeking a friendly and efficient Waiter/Waitress to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will work closely with the food and beverage team to ensure service standards reflect the luxury brand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest queries promptly and courteously.
• Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in compliance with licensing regulations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu and all product offerings.
• Keep mise‑en‑place well stocked at all floor stations.
• Follow correct reporting procedures for any issues.
• Ensure food and beverage orders are of consistent quality and delivered on time.
• Adhere to Hilton grooming standards, including uniform, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health‑safety legislation.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to high levels of customer service.
• Excellent grooming standards and flexibility to adapt to varying work situations.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous bar and food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Experience handling cash and knowledge of food hygiene regulations.
