Assistant Accommodation Manager – Employee Housing

About the role

The Assistant Accommodation Manager supports the daily operations of employee housing at Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha. This position ensures that staff residences are safe, clean, and well‑maintained, contributing to employee satisfaction and overall hotel performance. The role acts as a primary point of contact for staff accommodation queries and coordinates with internal and external service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of employee accommodation, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support room allocation planning, maintain accurate occupancy records, and monitor availability.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate repairs with Engineering or Maintenance teams.
• Monitor accommodation inventory (furniture, appliances, supplies) and maintain proper documentation.
• Serve as the main contact for employees regarding accommodation concerns, providing solutions and escalating when necessary.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper function of rooms and communal areas.
• Help implement health and safety protocols and report any hazards or non‑compliance.
• Maintain operational logs, resident details, and maintenance requests; prepare reports for management.
• Enforce accommodation policies, communicate rules, and address violations.
• Liaise with external vendors such as cleaning and pest‑control services to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Facilities Management, Hospitality, or Administration are a plus.
• Previous experience in accommodation services, facilities management, or administration, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
