Working Capital Specialist - Accounting & Finance Graduates (Qatari Talent)

About the role

EY's Working Capital Management team in the MENA region supports client service while safeguarding the firm's liquidity and financial strength. As part of a newly established team, you will improve the firm's cash collection performance by working directly with clients and internal teams to resolve overdue accounts and ensure timely payments. The role is open to accounting and finance graduates, and EY strongly encourages applications from Qatari nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Work with client-side invoice approvers and accounts payable teams to ensure timely payment processing
• Track payment arrangements and escalate delays or non-compliance internally and externally
• Identify and address the root causes of payment delays, including process inefficiencies and client approval bottlenecks
• Log and follow up on invoice disputes, support resolution and feed back on process improvements
• Maintain documentation of client billing and payment workflows
• Track invoice delivery, generate client statements and payment requests, and help allocate and reconcile payments with Finance and client engagement teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of collection processes and working capital outcomes

Required profile

• Accounting and finance graduate
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus
• Ideally: experience in a finance or client-facing role in professional services or a multinational, knowledge of government invoicing and payment practices in the GCC, and familiarity with collections processes

• Microsoft Excel
• SAP or similar ERP systems (an advantage)
• Familiarity with collections processes, tools and best practices
• Strong communication, organization and attention to detail
