Accounting Clerk – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Accounting Clerk supports the finance and accounting team by ensuring accurate entry of financial data, maintaining records, and assisting with reporting. This full-time position is based at Marriott International’s office in Doha and involves interaction with both internal staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents in line with company policies.
• Record, store, access and analyze computerized financial information.
• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical data using journals, ledgers, or computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing or payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports as specified.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related accounting or finance work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
