Accounts & Administrative Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Accounts & Administrative Officer to support the company’s accounting and administrative operations. The role focuses primarily on accounting activities while also handling general administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial record‑keeping activities.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, purchase orders and expense reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding receivables and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and reconcile petty cash.
• Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliations, reports and support month‑end / year‑end closing.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, banks and other parties on routine accounting and administrative matters.
• Provide general administrative support such as correspondence, document control, filing and data entry.
• Take ownership of specific accounting or administrative processes assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a combined accounting‑administrative role.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication and time‑management abilities.
• Good written and verbal English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
• Previous experience in Qatar or the GCC is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with accounting software.
