Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

The Accounts Payable Officer will manage day‑to‑day AP activities for the school, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations. This role supports internal departments and external suppliers while maintaining compliance with school policies and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, verify them against purchase orders and supporting documents.
• Prepare and execute payments, maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations.
• Resolve supplier queries and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Support month‑end closing activities and contribute to overall finance function efficiency.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented, organized and proactive finance professional with at least 3 years of experience in a finance department.
• High level of integrity, accountability and professionalism when handling confidential financial information.
• Strong analytical, communication and time‑management skills, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
