Accounts Receivable Assistant – School Finance

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to support the finance team at Etqan Global Academy in Doha. The role involves handling tuition and fee payments, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent service to students, parents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process cash, cheque and electronic payments for tuition, extracurricular activities, events and field trips.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records, including receipts, invoices, deposit slips and collection reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor outstanding fees, issue reminders and support fee collection efforts.
• Prepare daily transaction summaries and revenue reports for the Finance Manager.
• Process refunds and handle fee‑related email enquiries professionally.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and Qatar financial regulations on cash handling and data confidentiality.
• Collaborate with administrative staff, teachers and school leadership to facilitate smooth financial operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in finance, cashiering or accounts receivable.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage high‑volume workloads.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Bilingual in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
