Application Support Engineer

About the role

The Application Support Engineer provides advanced development and support for enterprise software applications. Working independently, the engineer handles development, enhancement and automation projects while serving as the Level 2/3 technical escalation point.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support for Oracle E‑Business Suite modules (GL, AP, FA, CM, HRMS, Payroll, SSHR, Inventory, Purchasing).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements, integrations and customizations.
• Design and build low‑code web applications using Oracle APEX.
• Ensure data integrity and security for enterprise applications.
• Execute incident and change management protocols to maintain application stability.
• Perform additional department duties or projects as directed by IT Management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
• 8+ years of IT experience.
• Experience with PL/SQL, Alerts and Workflow development.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS open‑interface APIs, Oracle Forms & Report development.
• Experience with OA Framework and XML processing using PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with WEB ADI Integrator, Oracle Workflow integration and AME is highly desired.
• Core APEX framework and low‑coding skills are highly desired.
