Applications & DevOps Consultant

About the role

The Applications & DevOps Consultant will lead post‑sales activities, assessing evolving customer needs and designing on‑premises or cloud solutions. You will work closely with business, development and infrastructure teams to modernize applications and migrate them to Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Run and manage proof‑of‑concepts (POC) and respond to RFPs, closing opportunities from a presales and implementation perspective.
• Architect scalable, highly available solutions using Microsoft services and Azure technologies.
• Implement DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment.
• Analyze current on‑premises environments, design migration pathways, and execute cloud migrations.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate optimal cloud solutions and create roadmaps for application modernization.
• Use ARM templates, Azure Policy, Blueprints and integrated deployment pipelines for Azure solutions.
• Contribute to internal R&D projects and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in cloud database migration, presales or post‑sales consulting.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud database migration and relevant certifications.
