Assistant Banquet Manager (Female)

About the role

The Assistant Banquet Manager supports the Banquet Manager in planning, coordinating and overseeing banquet and event operations at Al Najada Doha Hotel. You will ensure that weddings, conferences, corporate functions and social gatherings are executed flawlessly, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing banquet events according to client specifications and company standards.
• Coordinate event setup, service and breakdown, ensuring rooms are prepared as per banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Supervise banquet staff during events, manage scheduling, training and performance.
• Deliver high‑level guest service, handle complaints and maintain strong client relationships.
• Liaise with kitchen, stewarding, housekeeping, engineering and sales teams to guarantee smooth event flow.
• Monitor labour costs, inventory of equipment, linens and supplies, and support billing verification.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in banquet operations, food & beverage service or event management.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
